I really appreciate the interesting feedback people have shared through Twitter and Email in the weeks since, which has given me a few great ideas!
Today is Ochi's first major update, which adds an exciting feature that will change the way you use the app.
Automatically block distractions throughout the day on each of your devices, with scheduled filters.
Pick a filter, choose a start & end time, and set which days to enable it for. Block social media on iPhone when it's time to go to sleep, and hide distractions during the day whilst working on your Mac.
I've been testing it the past few weeks and have managed to successfully break my bad habit of repeatedly checking my email multiple times a day, as well as gaining nearly an extra hour of sleep each night by blocking access to social media.
For me personally, it's already been worth its weight in gold. 🏆 I hope you find this new feature super helpful!
